Fall fail

So I'm now in the bee-yoo-ti-ful state of Georgia. And I'm looking through the pictures on my phone, when I realized that I forgot to take pictures of my fall challenge :( Epic fail Karen, epic fail. So I made this really cool yarn wreath with felt flowers. And yea, I can't show you. Lol. So this weekend at the Georgia house, I am going to make a fall wreath for Danie. Because I am going to Jo-Ann Fabrics and Hobby Lobby! And I can't freaking wait!!!!!

Fall Challenge - Danielle

I would just like to point out that it's sooo unfair to give me a challenge when I have houseguests!

That being said, I rose to the challenge.  It didn't quite turn out the way I wanted it to, but hey, I learned from what I did.  I learned that I need full access to my baking supplies to do justice to chocolate molding.

Anyways.

Here is my offering for the Fall Challenge.  It's more Halloween than generic Fall, but it's tasty.  I used Wilton's Haunted Manor Cookie Candy Moldorange and dark chocolate candy melts, and Oreo Double Stuf cookies.  I think that next time, I'll find my chocolate paintbrushes to apply the first color (you can see how the orange of the pumpkins spread all over), rather than muddling through with a spoon.  But the results were tasty!  You can see where I sampled the product ;)

It's a Challenge!!

I decided to get off my butt this week and I have challenged Danie to do a fall themed crafty blog post. I feel a teensy bit guilty, having only sprung this on Danie on Friday and not leaving her much time to prepare for this. But she has a secret weapon in her back pocket this week.....Mom. Our Mother is down visiting for 3 weeks, and Nora and I head down on Friday for a week as well but Danie gets her for this project. Lucky duck!! Happy Sunday to you all!
